Hi, I’m Dr. Cristina Bronder

a licensed naturopathic doctor and licensed massage therapist.

My Journey

Healing and taking a more natural and hands on approach has always appealed to me and as I searched for a career in my early 20’s I found myself, somewhat inevitably, heading towards medicine.  I knew however, that I didn’t want to just put a bandaid on health issues. I wanted to really understand what was happening, to get to the root of whatever someone’s problem was.  This was motivated in part by my own experience with doctors and medicine and never really feeling like I had found someone who took the time and listened and was able to help me figure out my health issues.  This is part of what drew me towards naturopathic medicine, that call to the foundations of health, connection to nature and the opportunity to spend time with patients to be able to listen.

Having children was always something I dreamed of.  During my education, I finally found a practitioner who listened, and was able to help me understand my menstrual irregularities, something I feared may become a barrier to my dreams. Equipped with knowledge and support, when my dream came true, I felt slightly better prepared.  My whole experience of pregnancy and birth was incredibly impactful for me, as was recognizing that the support and information I had access to was not necessarily common for others. It only made me more passionate about being able to aid others in a similar way; I strongly believe that everyone deserves to have a team to support and look out for them while they are focused on supporting and looking out for their baby. It does take a village after all!

How I Practice

I am here to listen. To listen to YOU.  To hear your story, understand your goals and honor your intuition. Our first appointment will be a deep dive into your history, current place of health as well as short and long term goals.  We will review labs if they are available and assess what further testing may be needed, whether that is bloodwork, imaging, or functional testing. We will work together to come up with a customized treatment plan that works for you based on your goals.

Follow up visits can take place as often as you would like, however I generally recommend about 4-5 weeks after the initial visit to check in on how the treatment plan is working and to see if we need to make any adjustments.  If we are doing bodywork together, I may recommend more frequent follow ups.

I use a blend of traditional remedies and evidence based treatments because I recognize that everyone has different needs and that what works well with one person may not work well with another. I believe that there is room for traditional and modern medicine to work together and that  we can nourish ourselves with gentle tools from nature along with using methods that have been proven to work. Some of my favorite therapeutic tools are nutrition, supplement therapy, lifestyle changes, bodywork, botanical medicine, homeopathic remedies and UNDA therapy.
