FAQs

01

Can you be my primary care doctor?

No. While my education provided me training to be a primary care physician, I choose to practice in an adjunctive role so that I have more freedom to be present for my patients. I strongly recommend my patients have a PCP and/or OB/GYN to manage urgent health concerns.

02

Can you manage my pregnancy?

Unfortunately, no. I do not have midwifery or obstetrics training and am only able to offer adjunctive support to you during your pregnancy.  I am happy to work alongside your OB or midwife to help provide you the best care possible during your pregnancy.

03

Can I work with you from another state?

I am currently licensed in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  If you are able to travel to see me in person at one of the locations I practice out of in those states, then yes. (Click here to see locations) However, due to licensing regulations, I am unable to provide telehealth services if you live outside of those states at the moment.

04

Do you take insurance?

I do not currently accept insurance.  This allows our visits to take shape to truly address your concerns without worrying about having to tick boxes.  I am happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance or HSA for reimbursement if you desire.

05

Can I use an HSA card to pay for services?

Yes!
